Had an emergency with my sheltie Nova. We had gone camping this weekend to Douglas Provincial Park. While we were setting up Nova collapsed. I called and explained what was happening. It would take us over 2 hours to get there as we needed to take down the tent trailer. The veterinarian on call stayed until our 10 pm arrival. She worked with us and on another emergency until 1 am.She was very thorough and the team even did a little bum wash for Nova as he lost control of his bowels when he collapsed.Thanks. He feels better this morning.
Slow unprofessional service and charged almost double was I was originally told. My wife called several vets to see what shots would cost for our puppy. This clinic gave her the cost. We thought it would be worth the driving expense to Lumsden but I was sadly mistaken. I had to wait almost an hour (after my appt time) to see the vet. Then was told we would have to start all her shots over from scratch even thought she already had her first set. After seeing the vet they make you wait another 30 minutes while they try to figure out what to charge you. There were several of us exasperated and waiting....This was a colossal waste of time and money. When I was finally given the bill at the end I was shocked. I tried to explain what we were told before we came out they said I was lying because they don't tell anyone their fees over the phone. They were not nice about it. BAIT and SWITCH - beware and don't waste your time.
DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE! The receptionist is driving customers away. The vet and vet techs are great but Linda the worst manager/receptionist ever struggles with basic arithmetic, grade 2 problem solving and multitasking and gets mad when called out on that. Shes condescending and rude with a nasty snarl on her face. She should be fired! She causes nothing but issues with customers, billing and staff, poking her nose in where it doesnt belong. Its the most pathetic customer service Ive ever seen and not worth the hassle of driving out to. There were no savings as they add additional costs and taxes on things that werent completed or required. They are slower then molasses (probably because shes so old and stupid), struggle to answer the phones and are just all around horrible! Sherwood Vet clinic is our new go to. All the bad reviews on here mention the repulsive front end staff. Thats bad for business!
Our little Henry came in to TM'z on his very last legs. He's 4 1/2 months old and we suspect he ingested some sort of poison in his puppy travels. The ladies at the front desk immediately recognized he was very sick and promptly put us in a room and got him seen. Things went quickly from there, and his care was exceptional. They treated him quickly, and thankfully, he is now home and back to his puppy self. I can't say enough about everyone who helped us in the battle to save Henry. TM'z staff saved his little life. Without them, he wouldn't have made it. Thank you to everyone who took part in his care. Especially Dr. Soucy. You're amazing. Thank you all.
Great staff! I take my rescue here - when she had her spay surgery they offered IV fluids to speed along her recovery, called us when her BP dropped during - quickly corrected it & informed us about everything. And it doesn't hurt that the spay was almost $250 less then what the Albert-North clinic quoted us! Front staff is super friendly & caring. I admit that the vet's are a bit better with animals then people- but that's what matters most to me!
